Service description

The service helps companies clarify, assess, and select autonomous industrial service robots and AI-enabled mobile manipulation platforms tailored to specific operational needs in smart manufacturing, facility logistics, inspection, and maintenance workflows. Based on DTI’s extensive robotics benchmarking expertise, customers receive independent technology feasibility studies, sensor evaluation (SLAM, 3D vision), and sparring on human-robot interaction (HRI). The purpose is to de-risk capital investment (CapEx) decisions, accelerate robotic automation adoption, and evaluate how AI-driven perception and autonomous navigation optimize factory workflows.

Expected results:

A documented technology assessment and demonstration of relevant service robot solutions, including recommendations for use, adaptation, and next steps toward pilot or implementation.

Methodology:

The service is delivered as a joint clarification and assessment process including dialogue on needs and application scenario, screening of relevant service robot solutions, optional demonstration in a relevant test environment, and delivery of technical recommendations for selection and next steps.
