That’s why over the past year, we’ve invested in major upgrades to our online Service Portal, making it easier than ever for manufacturing SMEs and technology providers across Europe to find and engage with the AI and robotics services they need.
With more than 250 services from partners across eight countries, the AI-MATTERS Service Portal has become a central access point for experimentation, testing, and support in artificial intelligence for manufacturing.
Key Enhancements
The platform has undergone a full redesign to ensure it better meets the needs of our diverse user base. Recent improvements include:
- A fully searchable service catalogue, allowing users to filter services by country, challenge, or provider
- Localised node pages available in eight languages, managed directly by our national partners
- A redesigned homepage and site layout with improved navigation and clear calls to action
- A new “How It Works” page, including a step-by-step customer journey for first-time users
- User stories that highlight real-life examples of impact
- Continuous technical optimisation based on data insights from UX tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
These improvements were made not only to modernise the look and feel of the portal but also to improve usability, accessibility, and engagement — especially for SMEs who may be less familiar with EU-funded innovation programmes.

Our commitment to continuous development means more features are on the way. Planned updates include:
- Automated service updates through an API to ensure real-time accuracy
- Improved visuals and descriptions for each listed service
- AI-powered content support to help partners improve their service listings
