MADE 4.0 is a competence center on Industry 4.0 with special focus on manufacturing. It was established in 2019 on initiative and with co-founding of the Ministry of Economic Development (now MIMIT Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy) with a partnership of private & public entities, nowadays grown to fifty-one, including technology manufacturers, engineering companies, universities and a public body.
MADEcc is located in Milan, at the heart of one of the most dynamic industrial region in Italy, with the mission to support Italian SMEs in their digital transition. MADE4.0 has a 2,500 sqm facility hosting 100 technology demonstrators, staging all main processes of a smart and sustainable factory, product design, production, quality, logistics and maintenance.

Lately a number of test-beds for TEF services have been added. MADE 4.0 offers a broad range of consulting and training services aimed at designing, implementing and running a smart factory.
