360-Degree Risk Assessment for Robot Technology

360-Degree Risk Assessment for Robot Technology -1

Service description

This service delivers a structured 360 degree risk assessment combining physical machinery safety and OT industrial cybersecurity (IEC 62443 and ISO 12100) for robotic automation, smart end effectors, and edge AI connected tools. We evaluate network penetration risks, secure remote access vulnerabilities, wireless interface exposure, functional safety stop circuits, and AI trust in automated decision paths. The purpose is to help robotics developers and manufacturing machine builders ensure compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and EU Machinery Regulation, preventing costly product redesigns and securing industrial production lines against operational disruptions. Type of service: Test / Technical assessment and risk evaluation

Expected results:

A documented 360-degree risk assessment of the robot technology, including identified safety and cybersecurity risks, mitigation recommendations, and guidance for further development or compliance work.

Methodology:

The service is delivered as a structured risk assessment process including scope clarification, review of technical documentation and system interfaces, identification of safety and cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and delivery of documented findings with mitigation recommendations.

Target:

Manufacturing, Factory-Level Optimisation, Robotics and automation, Machine builders and integrators, Other industrial sectors using robot technology
