Service description

The service provides a basic introduction to robot technology for people who encounter robots in their current or future work situation. The course gives participants a practical and technical understanding of robot functions, application possibilities, and limitations in modern manufacturing. The purpose is to strengthen the knowledge of companies and employees about robot technology, prepare them to assess automation opportunities more effectively, and create a better basis for working with robots and related AI-enabled technologies in industrial environments.
Expected results: Participants gain basic knowledge of robot functions, applications, and limitations, understanding of kinematics and motion, and a practical introduction to simple programming, operation, and running of robot systems.
Methodology: The service is delivered as an introductory learning process in CobotLab including review of robot technology, understanding of robot functions and limitations, introduction to kinematics and motion patterns, simple robot programming, and operation of a robot setup.
