Service description

Ensuring compliance and safety for machines with AI-based, self-evolving safety features through accredited type testing, expert advice, and certification. Enables faster CE marking and legal market access for innovative intelligent technologies, in accordance with Annex I of the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
Expected results: A documented type-testing and compliance assessment of the AI-supported safety function, including test results, identified gaps if any, and recommendations supporting certification, CE marking, and legal market access.
Methodology: The service is delivered as an accredited type-testing and assessment process including review of the AI-supported safety function, evaluation against relevant regulatory and technical requirements, testing of safety performance and compliance, and delivery of documented findings and recommendations for certification and CE marking.
